
Stefanía Acevedo
Stefanía Acevedo holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UNAM, a Master's degree in Communication and Politics from UAM-Xochimilco, and has a Specialization and a Master's degree in Psychoanalysis from Dimensión Psicoanalítica. She is currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy at UNAM.
Her work focuses on the intersection between psychoanalysis, art, and politics. She is the author of the book El hacktivismo y la cuestión de la técnica (2020). She has completed research residencies in Brazil at the Center for Arts, Design, and Social Research (2023) and at the Federal University of São Paulo (2024). She is a member of the following projects: Transdisciplinary Research Group on Bio/Necro Powers and Other Contemporary Violences (UACM-UNAM); Philosophy and Psychoanalysis as Critical Borders of the Political (UNAM); Art + Science (UNAM); International Research Network for the Decolonization of Data and Artificial Intelligence – Common Ground; and the Contemporary Psychoanalytic Studies Group.
