    José Imanol Basurto Lucio

    José Imanol Basurto Lucio is an art historian from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Art History (Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UNAM) with a focus on Theory and Methodology.

    His most recent research stems from the intersection of ecocriticism and contemporary artistic practices. He has collaborated on research teams with interdisciplinary approaches, addressing debates on the links between art and agroecology, as well as the ethical and social implications of artistic work situated in territories and communities. Such collaborations have been published in specialized journals such as kritische berichte (University of Heidelberg, Germany), LEISA Revista de Agroecología (ETC Andes, Peru), and Zeszyty Artystyczne (University of the Arts Poznań, Poland).
