    Zara Almazán

Zara Almazán (Guerrero, 2002) is an emerging contemporary artist. She has presented her work in the group exhibitions (Contra)Literal (2025) and Columna Infinita (2024), both at Espacio Cotidiano. She has collaborated in the planning and curation of the exhibitions Rizoma. Forensic ecosystems and counternarratives (2025), Ante el eclipse: archaeologies of art in Mexico (2026), and Con todo y mi tristeza (2026), at the Museo Tamayo. She is currently a member of Onda MX.

Her artistic production explores autoethnography as a research method into her personal fears, emotional bonds, cultural traditions from her environment, and the polisemy that all of this represents both individually and collectively.
