Servidor Local invites you to PORTÁTIL - PHOS φως, a project curated by Pamela Ballesteros, focused on sound art and selected from the 2026 Emplazamiento Llano open call.
Created in 2024, PORTÁTIL transforms the traditional concept of the exhibition through an immaterial curatorial approach, using a podcast as its museum. By not relying on physical spaces, artworks, or artists being physically present, it redefines the roles of art and allows the exhibition to be borderless and accessible 24 hours a day.
In its second edition, Phos φως brings together the work of three artists—Juan Pablo Villegas, Christian Camacho, and Pierre Valls—to ask: what does light sound like? Light and sound behave as ephemeral, pulsating events, breaking with the idea of a static or permanent artwork.
