Drawing on the notion of hierophany—the manifestation of the sacred in everyday life—Tuxamee will share a journey through his artistic practice and the processes that shape it. The talk will explore how popular religious iconography, attire, and personal experience converge in a body of work that examines the intersections of identity, memory, desire, and community.

Tuxamee is a visual artist and cultural manager. Through collage, installation, and performance, he develops a practice that engages with popular culture, religious traditions, and dissident identities, building a visual language where the spiritual and the everyday meet.
