Gabriel Rico, Cynthia Gutiérrez & Carlos Grande

Plataforma presents Communion: Body, Matter and Arquitecture, a dialogue between artists Gabriel Rico and Cynthia Gutiérrez and Carlos Grande, professor of philosophy at ITESO. This conversation will focus on the fundamental role of philosophical questioning in the development of the artistic practices and methodologies of both artists. Starting from Rico's current exhibition at Plataforma, XYZ, the dialogue will explore concepts such as the death of identity, refuge as a territorial construct, the passage of time, the absence of consciousness, among other questions that run through the exhibition, which will be open to the public until January 12. Following the talk, we will have a cocktail party where you will have the opportunity to see the exhibition after an additional intervention, in which 100 more sausages have been placed.
