Bitácora de los Sentidos with Popdots

Plataforma invites you to the workshop Bitácora de los sentidos led by Melissa Aldrete and Luis Cárdenas.

Participants will explore Plataforma's current exhibitions through different senses, experiencing the works through sight, smell, and touch. Throughout the tour, each participant will record their findings, questions, and impressions in a logbook designed in a fanzine format.

At the end, we will share the different ways of experiencing and observing the exhibitions, recognizing that there is no single way of approaching art. Beyond the collective experience, each participant will take away a tool to keep exercising curiosity, observation, and imagination both inside and outside the gallery.

About the facilitators: Popdots is a collective made up of Melissa Aldrete, Luis Cárdenas, and Moisés Bautista. Through ceramics and pottery, their practice explores the intersections between design, contemporary art, and material culture, investigating the relationships between objects, territory, memory, and processes of transformation. They are currently presenting the piece Excesos at Plataforma as part of the Proyecto La Esquina.
