With Eduardo Donjuán & Sol Oosel
Closing
-> Feb 20 2026 – Feb 21 2026
On February 20 and 21 at 7pm, Arte Abierto presents ¿Has visto un barco chocar? [Have You Ever Seen a Ship Crash?], a staged piece that offers an unusual perspective on the accident — not as a sudden explosion, but as a slow, almost imperceptible process that unfolds while no one is looking. On stage, screenwriter Eduardo Donjuán and visual artist and musician Sol Oosel weave together words and sound to build a narrative that explores what is formed second by second in everyday life.
The work reflects on waiting, on a time that stretches and warps, and on how perception shifts when disaster does not erupt, but seeps in. From this unsettling slowness, the audience is invited to recognize that, often, the accident had already been happening for a long time. This performance marks the closing of Mauro Giaconi’s exhibition Temporal Advantage.
