Arte Abierto is a non-profit association dedicated to the creation and dissemination of cultural projects and specific works of art through the implementation of a comprehensive model that takes as a starting point the physical caracteristics of the architectural complexes that belong to Grupo Sordo Madaleno. This model involves the interaction and participation of diverse audiences in order to promote new ways of approaching the arts and contemporary culture. Arte Abierto is based on four work platforms: its collection, its commissions and exhibitions program, its educational mediation and communication program, and its institutional alliances program.
