Crónicas de la colección: Copy Paste al aire libre

In the context of Slow Art Day 2026, Arte Abierto invites you to participate in Crónicas de la colección: copy paste al aire libre, a journaling workshop to create visual narratives using photos and clippings. The proposal is to transfer the logic of digital "copy-paste" to the physical plane, drawing inspiration from the works in the Arte Abierto Collection exhibited at ARTZ.

Has it happened to you that, from walking through a place or seeing an object so often, you stop noticing its details? This workshop, guided by the Arte Abierto team, is an invitation to slow down and rediscover our surroundings with curiosity.

The activity is part of Slow Art Day CDMX and will take place this coming April 11. We will take the pieces in the collection as a starting point to carry out a creative journaling exercise. Through photographs, clippings, and texts, we will capture our own chronicles, applying the concept of "cut and paste" (Ctrl+X / Ctrl+V) directly in real life.
