Cecilia Miranda Gómez

Al menos flores

Rastro Galería invites you to the solo exhibition by Cecilia Miranda Gómez, Al menos flores, presented by ANDARÍN.

This window display intervention configures an aseptic passageway, an environment built from images of a hospital connection corridor. The proposal is conceived as a speculative exercise within a transit space. From there, it opens a reflection on the perception of time while waiting and how this conditions thought. Through this, it invites us to reconsider our way of understanding existence by means of a dreamlike projection.

Cecilia Miranda Gómez (Mexico City, 1993) is a visual artist and writer. Her practice explores how memory and the displacement of the body shape the experience of territory, through intersections between the visual and the written that link the autobiographical with the collective. She holds a Master’s in Artistic Research from UNAM and was part of the SOMA Educational Program. She has received fellowships from FONCA Young Creators and the Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas. Her work has been exhibited in Mexico and abroad. She is currently developing a project on illness, care, and the perception of time. She lives and works in Mexico City.
