As part of the public program Ficciones. Narratividad en el arte contemporáneo, Centro Cultural de España en México presents the activation of Andy Medina's piece Ninguna verdad absoluta sobre la facultad humana (2024).
Ficciones. Narratividad en el arte contemporáneo explores how analysis, interpretation, and the construction of narratives have taken center stage in today's art. In a context of epochal change, following the end of the hegemonic chronicles that shaped Western culture since the beginning of modernity—and their counterpoint in postmodernity—an opportunity has emerged for dispersed voices, improbable stories, and tales without a moral.
Ninguna verdad absoluta sobre la facultad humana (2024) is a multimedia artwork by Mexican artist Andy Medina that invites reflection on the construction of truth in today's society. On his Instagram page, it is described as an installation that explores the nature of truth in a context where information is manipulated by falsehoods and technology learns from humans.
