La ciudad es un juego
Arte Abierto presents the workshop La ciudad es un juego, taught by Amarillo Público. Limited space, free admission.
This workshop aims to expand the possibilities for using public space, understanding the city as a place full of “invisible” layers that must be understood in order to intervene. We will explore concepts such as everyday life, the infraordinary, the politics of the senses, and contextual art. As part of the activity, we will create signage to assign new meaning to urban space.
'Amarillo Público. Servicio Urbano de Arte Público' is a project of temporary interventions in the streets of Mexico City and surrounding municipalities. Since 2015, it has been part of art festivals, academic research projects, educational programs, and national and international exhibitions, some of them in Spain, Brazil, Peru, Canada, Colombia, and South Korea.
