Mártires de la Conquista

Martires de la Conquista is an initiative that seeks to generate experiences and synergies through art and design projects organized in spaces that initially had a different use. The starting point of Martires de la Conquista are the Imprentas Venecia, a printing house form the sixties located in the colonia Tacubaya. Immense rooms where several printing machines remain are providing an exceptional setting for the different events that have been presented so far like Public Art Projects, a itinerant contemporary art exhibition, the performances of the Museo del Accidente, the art publications fair Pie de imprenta or several workshops. This place, full of stories, also houses ItBurgers, where you can enjoy a delicious hamburger after the visit.

Oscuro Osbcuro is a new dark room located inside Mártires de la Conquista. This space aims to give autonomy to photographers. The dark room is available for hourly or monthly rentals and includes chemicals for development, an enlarger and personal attention. Cuarto Oscuro offers a 5-hour introductory workshop.
