Galería Unión is an independent and self-managed project created in 2019 by Mario Paredes Malibrán in Mexico City. Its objective is to exhibit contemporary art proposals related to narratives that come from the outskirts of large cities; the artists' work document local problems such as informal economy, syncretism, decline of public space, narcoculture, lack of protection and precariousness of subordinate groups, among other lines that guide the project. Currently, its space is located in La Lagunilla and through its exhibitions program it proposes an exploration of various techniques, experiences, symbols, places and perspectives of life built in these contexts.
