Galería Galería

Galería Galería was created to answer the need for spaces for exploration and experimentation around contemporary artistic practices. The project started in 2018 as an initiative of Nicolás Guzmán, Adriana Jiménez, Jacobo Margules and Manolo Márquez. It opened its doors to creatives in search of an open space where to generate reflections, criticism and dialogues around contemporary discourses, materials and logic. The project has occupied different venues, and collaborated with several artists for its construction. This characteristic has led it to reinvent itself, mutate and adapt according to today's fast-changing needs and possibilities. This openness to change has been a conjuncture to determine the structure of the project as one that does not have a determined direction, but is rather an entity in constant construction, an opportunity for artists and artistic agents to express themselves and rethink Galería Galería.
