Yasodari Sánchez

Yo Studio presents the exhibition Memorias de la aguja y el vinil, a project by Yasodari Sánchez.

As an artist, audiovisual producer and professor, Yasodari Sánchez proposes a dialogue around traditions and the culture of neighborhoods in Monterrey. Through the concept of Memorias del aguja y el vinil, the artist brings back one of the essential elements that has built the identity of Colonia Independencia in Monterrey: sonidero music as heritage for the district.

Among the activities on the opening night there will be conversation with Jesús Cruzvillegas -researcher and promoter of human rights- and Dr. César Rebolledo. Additionally, the studio invites to a musical performance by artists and composers of the local scene.

The exhibition will have an activation on saturday, October 14 from 12 to 6 pm, and a closing event on thursday, October 19 at 7 pm.
