Arte Expuesto presents Mi triste amuleto psicodélico de buena suerte, an exhibition of Matthew Carter's artwork that will be on display on the panoramic route this month.

Matthew Carter (b. 1981 Moline, IL) is an artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. He received his BFA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2005 and his MFA from Otis College of Art and Design in 2010. He’s a member of The Floating Gallery where he recently curated an exhibition, California Sober. Other exhibitions include Luis De Jesus, Charlie James Gallery, Proxy Gallery, Coagula Curatorial, Vincent Price Art Museum and MCASD.

This exhibition features works on paper. This body of work explores themes of transcendence, psychedelics, religiosity, intoxication, and nostalgia.
