Index MARCO – FF projects

As a result of the strong economic crisis that museums face internationally, and derived from the need to seek new positions for current artistic productions, MARCO thought of the sculpture patio as a possibility of generating links with the artistic community of Monterrey who has been concerned with finding a place in the global institutional space. For this reason, its director Taiyana Pimentel, in collaboration with the Members of the Board of Directors, thought about this project.

The subtext of the exhibition is relevant to the moment we are all living and prompts reflection on the ways in which current events inform the creative work of world-renowned artists.
