Established in 2018 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Feria de Arte Mexicano Accesible (FAMA) has established itself as the leading reference in contemporary art in northern Mexico. Initially promoted by Catalina Escamilla, Rodrigo Odriozola and the Monumento design studio, the initiative gained renewed impulse in 2019 with the integration of Núñez Zapata architectural firm as collaborating partners.

With the objective of democratizing access to art, FAMA offers an inclusive platform that accommodates artists of all disciplines, regardless of their experience, age, gender or place of origin. The fair encourages dialogue between artists, professionals in the industry and the public through an exhibition format where the artist is present.

Since its foundation, FAMA has acted as a catalyst in the incorporation of new generations into the art scene, encouraging both collectionism and the promotion of young artists. In consonance with a just trade model, the fair does not require exhibition fees from artists, but is financed by a commission on sales made, thus ensuring a sustainable and equitable platform for all participants.
