Antropogonías
Centro Cultural Plaza Fátima presents Antropogonías, an exhibition of the work of Eder Salas as part of the new cycle of exhibitions: Formas de nombrar.
Anthropogony is the explanation of the origin of man through myths; myth is, therefore, a universal fiction that appears in many cultures, secular or religious. I explain that Eder Salas's interest in sculpture and classical painting, the tendency to take the fable to existentialism, or to retake certain mythological symbols to comment on the experience of contemporary man, are ways of proposing anthropogony as a possibility of aesthetics of the absurd, which shows us dissociated at the moment of observing ourselves represented, suspended among all times.
