The Plaza Fátima Cultural Center presents during the month of October the film series with the theme "We all lose our head sometimes" under the curatorship of Raúl Quintanilla, which includes four films that will be screened on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.

  • October 4: Psycho (1960) Alfred Hitchcock. 109 min. Classification: B15. Synopsis: A woman on the run from the law decides to hide out in the ill-fated Bates Hotel.
  • October 11: Whistle and I'll Come to You (1968) Jonathan Miller Synopsis: A skeptical professor discovers a mysterious whistle that will awaken unknown terrors. / The Signalman (1976) Lawrence Gordon Clark Synopsis: A traveler meets a train signalman who tells him a disturbing story. 42 minutes + 38 min.   • October 18: Vampyr (1932) Carl Dreyer. 74 min. Classification: B. Synopsis: A young man takes refuge in a small town plagued by a sinister force.
  • October 25: The Shining (1980) Stanley Kubrick. 144 minutes Classification: B15. Synopsis: Jack is hired to take care of the Overlook Hotel where he will have to spend an isolated winter with his family, without suspecting the madness that awaits them.
