Castillo Interior invites you to an evening of cocktails prepared by the gallerists Mariana y Marines, in the presence of Josephine Dorr, co-curator of otro dibujo con onda, vol. 1: metatrazos y desbordamientos. The exhibition brings together the work of ten artists: Guadalupe A. Vidal, Javier Arjona, Pedro Assam, Charlie Godet Thomas, Daniela Guerra², Mariana Ledesma, Rosita Relámpago, Prisciliano Valencia, Cynthia Yee, and Trilce Zúñiga.

The practices brought together in this first chapter demonstrate that drawing is not defined by its medium or technique; rather, they emphasize it as a living line inscribed in matter—one that transforms it and provokes spatial, temporal, and sensorial overflows. Drawing here is both gesture and embodied thought, intuition and ritual, trace and language. This collaborative curatorial essay seeks to highlight drawing in its contemporary breadth as a great weaver of stories and networks. It is conceived as a point of departure: a line in expansion whose potency is called to unfold beyond this exhibition.
