A Chronovisor for Never Having Reached the Moon is a collective exhibition featuring 21 artists working around the idea of an "artifact or device" that allows the viewer to question the veracity of the established dominant narrative. The term Chronovisor references the device supposedly created by the Vatican in May 1972 to record past events, including those of Jesus Christ. Reaching the moon is presented as an example of narrative constructs embedded in globalized culture to legitimize the power position of the United States. Both phenomena present objects and evidence for the generation of new myths, which is the aim of the exhibition.
