Museo Raúl Anguiano

today open 10:00AM 3:00PM

The Raúl Anguiano Museum presents this exhibition, conceived as a collective dialogue of artists from Venezuela and Mexico, which proposes establishing individual positions that demonstrate, reflect, and question the ways of producing visualities in a current situation that constantly saturates the ocular senses. From this premise, we invite you to reproduce, rethink, and forward projects that consider your circumstance, in which the ways of creation, communication, transfers, and existence following a punctual world will now interfere transversally.

That is why, rather than specifying conclusions about contemporary visuality, everything seen, everything done is intended to speculate on the remnants of what was captured by our eyes and materialized through art, based on the logic of moving archives. that obey the transience and urgency of seeing, without ceasing to value the extensive, deliberate and conscientious times of producing images and processes of artistic interest in the present.

Curated by Mayra Vineya, Marco Valtierra & Manuel Vásquez-Ortega
