The Process Behind Tierra Caliente

Plataforma invite you to learn about the experience of artists Ariana Díaz and Javier Morales Casas, who developed their projects in the Tierra Caliente exhibition, curated by Romina Beltrán Lazo on the third level of Plataforma. This talk will address the artists' conceptual and material processes, as well as the curator's role in their development. It will be an opportunity to explore the interconnections between two artists from different geopolitical contexts, the bond created between them and with their own practice, and their experience in the first edition of Plataforma residencies. The event will take place on the Plataforma terrace and will include a brief guided tour of the artists in the exhibition. This event is aimed at emerging artists interested in fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and participating in future Plataforma residencies.
