CUARTEL
Tentations of a Fluctuating Dream brings together twenty emerging and established artists in a space undergoing transformation. The exhibition becomes a living laboratory where different generations, languages, and sensibilities coexist, sketching a vibrant map of contemporary art today.
The curatorial axis revolves around the fluctuating nature of art: that which transforms, moves, and constantly redefines itself. Within this ebb and flow of tensions and dialogues, there also emerges a touch of the feminine, understood not only as gender but as a creative, intuitive, and critical energy that runs through several of the works on view.
The very site of the exhibition reinforces this character: a place that once functioned as an annex and then as a school for children with autism, now reimagined as an exhibition space. This transformation mirrors the spirit of the show—unfinished, mutable, and open to change.
The project not only presents new and recent work but also proposes a dialogue between established trajectories and young voices just beginning to carve their path. With this exhibition, NAGG (Not A Gallery) reaffirms its vocation for building bridges between the emerging and the established, between the experimental and the consolidated, offering a journey that celebrates the vitality of art in the present
