Souvenir from (a) Future

By María Mercedes Baltazar Lobato

María Mercedes Baltazar Lobato leads the workshop Souvenir from (a) Future as part of the exhibition Deliveries from the Future: Exercises in Latin American Speculative Design.

In this workshop, participants will begin with an emerging force of change and project it fifty years into the future. They will use the Work Kit of Design Fiction card game, developed by The Near Future Laboratory, as a tool to imagine artifacts that could exist in different future scenarios. Through hands-on and speculative dynamics, they will explore tomorrow through creativity, storytelling, and the realm of the possible.

Free entry — Prior registration required
