Manifesto

today open 10:00AM 7:00PM

Manifesto presents the group exhibition Self...ish, featuring paintings and sculptures by eight Mexican artists and two Spanish artists: Armando de la Garza, Carlos Cortés, Carlos Melancolía, Diego Ayala, John Medina, Okuda San Miguel, Ricardo Luevanos, Salustiano, Sofía Crimen, and Folé Fonseca, with a solo exhibition.

In a world where identity fluctuates and personal boundaries blur, the exploration of the "self" becomes both a refuge and a paradox. Self...ish examines the isolation of the individual, highlighting the fragmented and contradictory nature of human existence. This exhibition responds to our evolving relationship with ourselves, caught between external influences and the yearning for authenticity. Separation emerges not only as a physical condition but also as an emotional and psychological state, where solitude can be a deliberate refuge—an introspection that transforms detachment into an act of reflection.
