Tiro al Blanco presents COSMOLAB by Roberto Turnbull.

Painter, sculptor, and engraver. His work oscillates between a diversity of styles and the structuring or rethinking of the image. The multiplicity of resources is present throughout his work, in the thickness, gradations, brushstrokes, and contrasts. Circulates between a clear space and overlapping planes. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda”, in Mexico City. He has made solo exhibitions in the United States, Japan, Norway, Canada, Colombia, Belgium and France. In Mexico, he has exhibited at the Carrillo Gil Art Museum (MACG), the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), the Experimental Museum El Eco, and the Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara, among others. He has participated in various biennials such as Havana, Cuba, and Cuenca, Ecuador. He has received various distinctions, among others, he has twice won the Rufino Tamayo National Painting Biennial and has been a member of the National System of Art Creators. His work is in public and private collections at home and abroad, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
