Proyecto Arte presents the guided tour of Eminente Barbarie with the artists Milo Medina & Raúl Rebolledo.

In the works of Raúl Rebolledo and Milo Medina the spectral presence of everyday barbarism that legitimizes the State and its necropatriotic discourse is explored.

The national context is sculpted on the aesthetics of the founding symbols and mythemes. Artists reflect on this situation: what should be done in the face of eminent barbarism? Perhaps, clinging to the ideals of civilization that crumble with each attempt at return. Perhaps, contemplate it, listen to it, just think about it, digest it; as we do with everything today; as with ourselves. It seems that, little by little, we let cruelty and atrocity become the new ways-of-being.
