SHOW BARRIAL Vol. 2 is part of what will be an ongoing project of artistic experiments that attempt to question art’s power as an agent of change. By taking art out of the white cube and into the Santa Tere neighborhood, SHOW BARRIAL strips away the audience’s perceptions of its contemplative nature and presents itself as a real medium of reflection.

For this edition, Brazilian artist Marilá Dardot will present an intervention at José Clemente Orozco Park, exploring the links between extreme wealth and climate change. The work offers a sensory experience that prompts reflection on the environment, time, and global responsibility, encouraging a deeper understanding of the collective need to act in the face of these urgent challenges.
