The Government of Guadalajara, through the General Coordination of Community Construction, the Directorate of Culture and the Raúl Anguiano Museum invite the inauguration of the exhibition "Enciclopedia de sabores. Camino a las piedras bola. Etzatlán, Jalisco 2020-2023" by Mónica Leyva and curated by Mónica Ashida, on Friday, the 7th of July at 7:00 p.m. at the Raúl Anguiano Museum.
A solo exhibition by the artist Mónica Leyva, produced in collaboration with Cerámica Suro and Ponche Pajarote.
The exhibition is made up of small-format pieces made using the high-temperature ceramic technique of traces of plants, seeds, fruits, and spices collected within the territory of the Valles de Jalisco Region, a contemplative video and a sample of dyes made with material collected in the same territory.
