Lucila Rodarte

Impronta presents This Feels So Dumb, an exhibition by Lucila Rodarte for Impronta Casa Editora, part of the program organized by Otro Espacio and curated by Sandra Sánchez. The exhibition works with memory as a production in the present tense, using the double and the glaze. Rodarte traveled through secondhand markets and other nooks and crannies in Guadalajara and collected a series of objects to replicate in different materials such as ceramics, fabrics, and words. "The object represented in memory mutates," says the artist. What's at stake is the mutation.
