Isa Carrillo

Tiro al Blanco presents Isa Carrillo's solo exhibition 9 (Nueve).

According to the ancestral wisdom of the Kabbalah studied in the Pythagorean school, numbers are conceived as essences that go beyond a sign. These codes that explain the enigmas of the universe contain secrets that serve as a tool for the refinement of the human psyche.

This project is an outline of the portrait that each one of these mystical codes. A geometric representation that the contained energy from one to nine can generate.

At the same time, three-dimensional objects are displayed with shapes corresponding to portraits of the numbers, thus recalling the writing of Mayan numerals, with circles, lines and seeds. By precisely connecting these meanings with everything embodied in the world, the materials used in this exhibition come from earth.
