Otro Espacio presents Adiós, a show by Héctor Rentería in Impronta Casa Editora.

A record damaged to the point of being illegible loses its practical destiny, but it's compensated with a poetic purpose, it becomes a blind image. This exhibition brings together a selection of visual compositions created mostly by processes associated with deterioration: erasing, sanding, staining, clouding strokes with paint, subtracting, and superimposing sections of images. Corrosion-born formations embody the appearance of something broken, but there never was a "something", therefore there was never any damage, just the creation of something lost that was never there.
