Closing
-> Jan 7 2023
guadalajara90210 invites you to the closing of the two exhibitions:
On the one hand, Aldo Álvarez Tostado invites you to the last guided tours of his exhibition, on Saturday the 7th at 5pm and Sunday the 8th at 12pm: Qué hay detrás de la reja, an exhibition on the thresholds and the idea of intimacy in the work of Luis Barragan.
On the other hand, in Máquinas mexicanas para atender el nuevo objetivo de la Revolución, a solo exhibition by Josué Mejía, the artist presents an exhibition with various vignettes, in which he speculates on the processes that Mexico had to go through on its way to industrialization, at the end of World War II and at the beginning of what we know as the Cold War. A moment where the impetus for progress completely veils the effects and consequences that the industry could bring about.
