Trece Lunas

Plataforma presents the exhibition Trece Lunas by Chelsea Culprit.

Trece Lunas marks the rhythm of forms that emerge from vessels, tools, and offerings, creating a field of forces where time bends and thickens. The artist weaves a personal cosmology in which materials such as clay, pigments, and lace preserve a vibrant memory of the ancestral. Her process—initiated in a former fire station turned studio—fuses American rural craft, geometric abstraction, and psychedelic motifs. The result is a space of transition where the decorative becomes a conduit of energy, and where anonymous forms, like domestic “ghosts,” convey tensions between the intimate and the universal.
