Carlos Lara (Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, 1994) is a multidisciplinary artist, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Monterrey (UDEM). His work questions the promises and failures of modernity, often referring to historical, economic, and political events in Mexico while exploring various ways in which identity is constructed through symbolic networks related to the processes of industrial modernization.
