In the framework of 8M, Plataforma invites you to the talk “ATRAVEZADXS” this Thursday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m. in its auditorium where Laura Bordes, Florencia Guillén, Mónica Leyva & Paola Lazo will discuss the methodologies and approaches that seek to make women’s experiences visible within the art world. Both Mónica and Florencia are multidisciplinary artists who work through different experimental practices including textiles, video, sound, photography, and gastronomy, among others; Laura is a specialist in psychoanalysis and design of educational experiences, currently leads the Education Department at the Cabañas Museum; Paola Lazo has a PhD in science and is an advisor on gender issues, was Secretary of Substantive Equality of Jalisco and is currently director of the Marisa Foundation. Through their diverse experiences and perspectives, they will weave an enriching and reflective conversation.
