La luz que se disuelve
Workshop
-> Oct 30 2025
As part of the public program of the exhibition Behind the Arctic Lies a Paradise, presented at the Museo de Arte de Zapopan, a theoretical–practical workshop will take place offering tools to connect with intuition. By imagining the existence of a pre-humanity and a future humanity, the session proposes an inner journey that will reveal secrets still hidden from ourselves. Various oracles will accompany the session to awaken creativity and the capacity to dream.
I died as a mineral and became a plant.
I died as a plant and rose to animal.
I died as an animal and became human.
Why should I fear anything?
When was I ever less by dying?

Isa Carrillo is an artist and graduate of Visual Arts from the University of Guadalajara. Her artistic practice is rooted in studies and ancestral practices. From within the field of art, her work focuses on revisiting and integrating ancient worldviews into the present, thus weaving a sensitive bridge with past knowledge. By developing a reinterpretation of hidden or enigmatic aspects of the collective unconscious, she combines psychological and mystical elements. Drawing on primordial teachings such as astrology, numerology, palmistry, graphology, and other ancient systems or traditions, she conducts studies that later serve as catalysts for the development of her projects.
