Adiós Paraíso

PALMA presents the exhibition Frontera Fricción by Adiós Paraíso, curated by Escombro.

Something has exploded. We don’t know what happened, but nothing is where it once was: the face has vanished, and with it, the organization of flesh. Postures have dissolved; bones point to nothing but the failure of ever having tried to hold themselves up. The machine and the body have fragmented: there are no longer defined segments or locatable points. Nothing moves forward or backward; all that remains is the trace of a halted velocity, an impulse abruptly broken, a direction ruptured at its root.
