Ulrik López’s material gestures go beyond cataloguing unstable visual forms: they are powerful intuitions that play with the unapparent semantics of matter to reveal its embodied potential and evoke a furtive, complex thought. Neither Mute Nor Empty is an encounter with Ulrik’s individual method, rooted in the “ghosts of use” that persist in the forms around us and which give life to our experience.
