Tina Modotti in three moments: archive, laboratory and street

Curator and researcher Natalia de la Rosa will moderate a conversation with Yanna Hadatty Mora, Daniel Kent Carrasco, and Eunice Adorno. The dialogue will address archival and historiographic work around Tina Modotti: her presence in magazines and modern press —including the graphic novel—, the archive as a space of memory, her relationship with agronomy and the communities of Chapingo, as well as her political affiliations reflected in her photographic work.

As part of this program, Eunice Adorno will present her project Los libros de Tina, a piece composed of documentation and black boxes that contain memories of the photographer’s life and work.
