    -> Sep 25 2025 – Mar 1 2026

    As part of the opening of Por fin, algo bueno, there will be a guided tour led by the designer Stefan Sagmeister at 12 pm, who will share his project on the state of the world through graphic design. During this tour, visitors will explore a series of installations, sculptures, and paintings, many of them historical pieces that Sagmeister intervenes with visual and formal codes, transforming them into communication devices. These works are built from his analysis of data drawn from various verifiable sources and demonstrate that, with the responsible handling of information through design, it is possible to reflect on our perception of the current state of the world. Register here.

    On the same day, from 1 to 2 pm, the activity Gustos comparados will take place. In this interactive installation, designer Stefan Sagmeister turns the act of eating into a bridge across centuries and geographies to contrast two revealing data points: in France in 1700, the caloric value of a stew made with buckwheat, cabbage, and beans was considerably lower than that of one prepared in today’s Democratic Republic of the Congo, made with corn, plantains, and beans. Through a proposal conceived from data visualization, visitors will have the chance to taste these recipes, prepared by Adan Meza Morales, a member of the MAZ Public Programs team. This activation translates historical and current data into a sensory experience that invites reflection on how socioeconomic conditions have shaped—and continue to shape—access to food and nutrition.
