Santiago Sierra

Labor presents Santiago Sierra's new solo exhibition Los Embarrados.

Balenciaga commissioned Estudio Santiago Sierra the set design for its 2023 summer fashion show, recreating the work House in Mud, carried out in 2005 at Kestner Gesellschaft in Hannover, Germany. The runway involved the work of 1300 people and the set was made of 275 m3 of mud that were used to cover a space of 2414 m2. The set was created jointly by Estudio Santiago Sierra and sub.

The artist will present six new large format photographs and thirteen drawings. This body of work is a testimony of the set created by Santiago Sierra in 2022 in Paris.
