Fábrica presents 1 (phantom), the first solo exhibition of multidisciplinary artist and painter Salim Green. There will be an immersive experience at the opening.
Salim Green has a BA from Wesleyan University in Sociology and is currently in the MFA painting program at UCLA. Salim was recently featured as a Noteworthy Artist in the latest edition of New American Paintings and will participate in an upcoming show at Stony Arts Bank in Chicago later this month.
1 (phantom), builds upon a premise established in ‘Dark Forest Theory’ — an expanded photo book project currently in collections at the Getty Research Institute, The Underground Museum, and the Tyler School of the Arts and Architecture — where fear and universal mistrust between civilizations results in hiding as a form of self-preservation.
