Quema

Quema is a project curated by Ana Castella in collaboration with Irina Estudio born from the concern that formality is exposed to a unique creative process. This project of objects created in high-temperature ceramics pays tribute to the affectivity of everyday uses and of making an exercise of creating collectively.

Quema launched its first collection in 2021 with collaborations with Zoë Paul, Aileen Gavonel Arenas, Ramiro Chaves, Alejandra Venegas, Cynthia Yee, Federico Schott and Claudia Fernández. The second collection will be presented in Laguna from April 27 to May 1 at the La Metropolitana showroom with the participation of Rita Ponce de León, Rodrigo Hernández, Charlie Godet Thomas, Fabiana Martínez Peláez, Manuela García, Avantgardo and Emilio Bianchic.
