A video-performance by Paola de la Peña in collaboration with Ivonne Ballí where the objects with sentimental value from the youth of the artist Paola de la Peña star, who assigns them personalities and voices of Youtubers and Spanish-speaking pop characters that have changed her life. Technically the performance involves a projection and a person interacting with the visuals. The visuals are a mix of stop motion with more recent 'post-internet' techniques.
The performance aesthetic is maximalist and includes a lot of iconography that evokes a visceral or nostalgic feeling. The performance is an experimentation of different media and genres synthesized in a single video with a kitsch and absurdist character.
