Centro Cultural de España en México presents in its exhibition gallery Páginas en construcción. A traveling showcase that offers a look at some of the most singular, experimental, and representative assembled magazines which, from the 1970s to the present day, have charted the path of editorial experimentation in Spain.
The Traveling Showcase of assembled, experimental, and rare magazines under the title Páginas en Construcción moves primarily through the most distinctive pieces from the modest yet rich collection of eccentric magazines treasured by Pepe Murciego—an interdisciplinary artist and, since 1993, co-editor alongside Diego Ortiz of the action and editorial experimentation project La Más Bella.
The exhibition’s structure is complemented by other eccentric magazines loaned by prominent collector friends, such as the visual poet and experimental editor Antonio Gómez, as well as by the magazines’ own editors.
